HOW DO YOU ROAST YOUR COFFEES?

expand_more

We have a dual roasting programme, meaning we roast our coffees slightly differently depending on how they're to be drunk.

Largely, we roast our Single Origins to be drunk black, as filter coffees such as a V60. We roast Singles to let their flavour profiles shine and the unique characteristics of each farm or cooperative be front and centre.

Our blends we roast for an incredibly moreish taste and consistency for milky based coffees. Think your flat whites and your lattes. These are for those drinks that you keep coming back to, and you start to have a real favourite than you can always rely on.

HOW DO I CHOOSE A COFFEE?

expand_more

Ultimately, it comes down to your own fancy. Beginners tend to prefer classic, chocolatey and nutty flavours; which blends are great for.

Then, if you want to experiment with more fruity and floral notes, trying our constantly refreshed bank of single origins is a great shout.

Taste is always subjective, so we suggest the best way to discover what you like is to just try 'em.

We offer 100g bags, a uniquely small size not just so you can ensure you're always getting the freshest coffee, but also for that exact reason: it's a great way to try new coffees and experiment.

BLENDS VS SINGLE ORIGINS

expand_more

We're simplifying a bit here, but here's the 101 on blends vs singles:

Blends

  • Great, consistent coffees, ideal for your daily milky coffee
  • Tend to be for white coffees: think flat white, or latte
  • Often have flavours that are chocolatey, nutty, and something sweet like nougat or caramel

Single Origins

  • Offer more variety, and less common flavour profiles: like fruits, florals and more
  • Often drunk black, as something like a V60
  • We constantly rotate ours, sometimes bringing back fan faves, sometimes offering rare, one-off editions
