There's no shortage of coffee roasters who'll sell you beans. You place an order, a bag turns up, and then you're largely on your own. That works fine if coffee is a side note to your business. But if it's central to what you do — and for most cafés and hospitality businesses, it really is — that model has a pretty obvious ceiling.
We do wholesale differently, and it starts with a simple idea: we don't just want to be your supplier. We want to be your head of coffee.
What "Head of Coffee" Actually Means
When we take on a wholesale partner, we're not just handing over beans and wishing you luck. We're taking genuine ownership of your coffee offering — the quality, the consistency, the training, the equipment, and the day-to-day reality of running coffee in a busy environment.
For a shop owner, that's worth a lot. Coffee is one of the most technically demanding parts of running a hospitality business, and it's also one of the most visible. Getting it right consistently — not just on a good day, but every service, every week — takes real expertise and real attention. That's what we bring.
It takes a significant weight off your shoulders, and frees you up to focus on everything else that goes into running a great business.
The Coffee Itself
It starts, as it always does, with what's in the cup. Our wholesale clients get access to the same coffee we put our name to in our own shops — roasted at our Winchester roastery, quality controlled to the same standards, and delivered fresh.
We roast with two distinct approaches depending on how the coffee is being used — whether that's a milk-based menu built around The Product, or single origin offerings for black coffee and filter. That dual approach isn't just something we talk about; it's built into how we support each client, making sure the coffee is set up to perform in their specific context.
Training That Goes All the Way
Great coffee on the menu means nothing if the people making it aren't confident doing so. That's why training is a core part of what we offer, not an optional add-on.
We run a full barista training academy at our Winchester roastery, where we've trained countless baristas over the years. And we've now added a second training space above our Pavilion Road shop in London — so wherever you're based, there's somewhere close by to get your team properly up to speed.
We teach baristas exactly how to get the best out of our coffee — the ratios, the technique, the consistency. So when someone joins your team, they're not figuring it out on the job. They arrive knowing what they're doing.
Machine Maintenance — Before Things Go Wrong, and When They Do
Equipment failure during a busy service is one of the most stressful things that can happen in a café. We offer both preventative and reactive machine maintenance, which means we're not just there to fix things when they break — we're actively working to make sure they don't break in the first place.
Regular servicing, check-ins, and a team that understands the machines inside out. It's the kind of support that makes a real difference to the day-to-day reliability of your setup.
Hand Delivery and Weekly Account Management
We hand-deliver coffee to our wholesale partners. It's a small thing that signals a bigger commitment — we're not outsourcing that last step to a courier and hoping for the best.
Beyond that, our account managers come in every week. Not to check a box, but to genuinely understand how things are going — how the coffee is tasting, how the team is getting on, whether anything needs adjusting. It's a relationship built over time, and it ends up feeling less like a supplier arrangement and more like having a knowledgeable friend on your side who happens to know everything about coffee.
We've Done This Ourselves
One of the things that sets us apart from a lot of roasters is that we actually run successful coffee shops ourselves. Our two London sites aren't just a nice brand story — they're where we stay sharp, stay honest, and stay connected to the reality of what it takes to run great coffee in a demanding, competitive environment.
We understand the pressure of a morning rush, the importance of consistency across a full team, and the kind of support that actually makes a difference versus the kind that sounds good on paper. Everything we offer our wholesale partners comes from that lived experience.
Retail: An Extra Revenue Stream You Might Be Underusing
Something a lot of our wholesale partners find genuinely valuable is on-site retail — selling bags of our coffee directly to customers in their venue.
It's a natural fit. If someone has just had a brilliant flat white in your café, the chance to take that experience home is an easy sell. Retail bags carry strong margins, require no additional labour, and build a real connection between your customers and the coffee they're drinking. We help set this up properly, making sure it looks good, sits naturally in your space, and actually converts.
In Short
Most roasters sell you coffee. We help you run the coffee side of your business — properly, consistently, and with a level of personal investment that's genuinely rare in this industry.
From the beans and the roasting, to training, maintenance, delivery, weekly visits, shop advice, and retail — it's a complete offering, built around making your coffee exceptional and keeping it that way.
If that sounds like something worth talking about, we'd love to hear from you.
